Rangoli, a romantic family drama that brings back the nostalgia of school life, was written and directed by Vaali Mohan Das. The film stars Aadukalam Murugadoss as the father of the titular character, Hamaresh. Prarthana Sandeep, Saishri Prabhakaran, Akshaya Hariharan, Amit Bhargav, and many other supporting stars also star in the film. Both the soundtracks and background music for this movie were composed by Sundaramurthy K.S. Marudha Nayagam was in charge of the cinematography. The battle scenes in this movie were choreographed by director Vaali Mohan Das, and the total film was edited by Sathyanarayanan. This movie was produced by Babu Reddy and S. Satish Kumar under the banner of Gopuram Studios. Story Rangoli is a family entertainer that tells the story of Sathyamoorthi, a bright student who gets into a fight at his government school. His father transfers him to a prestigious school, where he is bullied by the other students. However, he falls in love with a girl named Parvathy, and they must overcome the challenges of their different backgrounds to be together; however, their relationship was forbidden by their families. Sathyamoorthi's love for Parvathy is put to the test when he is forced to choose between her and his family responsibilities. His parents have faced enough problems because of his activities, so the rest of the film is about whether he will hear the words of his heart or brain.
